That looks like a fantastic example of a now cult car

No doubt you are so chuffed with it.

Tyres have that "forest stage" look about the profile of them though

If its still restricted it should be easy to confirm, it will only do about 112mph (180kmh IIRC)

engine runs fine , just spent 2 days doin full service with good oil and all boost pipes checked and cleaned, as said very easy car to work on, the best bit bein how easy it would be to swap the turbo loads of space compared to doin my s2

dave if i had the money ther wud be a escort cozzy outside ma door but i dont , it was either spend thousands on my s2 or buy a evo, thay made 7000 evo3 and the M.L.R says that the evo3 gsr is a rare car to find dunno why, suppose all the evo3 rs models were raced and alot were smashed up! at the end of the day its alot of car for very little money and wud sell very quickly

the evo will probably be more reliable than the escort anyway.

stick with the evo's.

think its standard mate, iv got all the paper work from japan all the manuals or in japanese power is a supposed 266 bhp standard but thay say the true figure is more like 300bhp im used to a 180/190 bhp s2 and have been in alot of fast cars includin lots of cozzys but the all round evo package is very good , steve off here drove it and you should of seen his face thers a massive 5mm alloy skid pan protectin the engine iv had to take it off to do a oil change im not sure weather thats satndard on evo,s or not, its got electric everything includin a/c and electric fold away mirrors
