Nothing. There wasnt anything for a Focus RS that was worth buying

I thought shows were supposed to be a little cheaper then in the shops? I was looking at some meguairs products and it was the same price and in some cases more expensive than can get it in the shops

to be honest, 95% of the spares was utter junk, covered in filth and tatty and overpriced - I know most of the "big" traders wern't there this year, prob because of high stand prices? -But still, seems there are quite a few pikeys that come out the woodwork come national day and expect £400 for a tatty grubby set of cloth 2wd recaros . Me and a mate took over £1000 between us, and we came home with most of it in our pockets . I bought an aircon pump, but that was pre-arranged, and apart from that I bought a pair of shiney escort cossie strut tops and a chrome bonnet stay, apart from that there was nothing really worth the hassle of buying .

I think people tend to stay to the smaller stuff due to returns/ hassle of sorting stuff out if the item turns out to be a dud- nightmare if you buy an engine/gearbox etc that turns out to be crap.

Oh, and the food/drink prices are a fucking joke as well , but apart from that it was a good day, some good track action - Is always the highlight

I bought a copy of Fast ford and
5x tickets for the raffle car,

I was looking for long studs and nuts for GpA wheels but what a ball ache and not really in the mood, was a downer all day with low turn out, nasty weather at the start and not that great a saving on the parts I wanted Still always E-bay and Passionford to count on

There wasnt one ( proper trader there ) ie breaker apart from JC ,

I dont do the shows anymore because of the pikey breakers selling total shit at top money

The shows were a place where people relied on for finding there parts ( quality items ) from proper traders who sold good stuff at decent prices , all you get now is the bedroom breakers selling utter shit that i would throw in the skip

Its a shame for the people looking to buy as they just have to look through boxes of scrap parts and end up going away with nothing and then rinning around the proper traders on the monday after
