If you did that, and then the head casting too you would be aware there would be NOTHING cosworth left then on Rods engine or martins engine

Who cares if the engine is a one off a engine is a engine for me.
If it's in ford cosworth than just a ford engine for me.
And if you let cosworth do the sort of work and you put ford cosworth on the block that it's just a new ford cosworth engine.
Or better use a yb cosworth as guide for the new engine and use it as a cast and mock up part.

Been busy bit surprised this is still going on.
Theirs a difference from being a Ford hater & realising that in the performance car stakes they have been left far behind. I cant stand Fords but like everything Cosworth, thats why I own one.
Suppose mine is about as far as its possible to take a road going Sierra, but to make it perform & handle almost everything has changed from what Ford intended, take those bits off & it would be a wheel-spinning, shit handling 18year old pile of crap. By all means drive & enjoy your Cossie, but the days of the average one being King of the road have been over for 10 years.

Scoobs are shite, I think not, better road car than any Cossie in standard form & these days can produce more Power than a Cossie. By all means stick up for your favourite marque but do it by enlightening us too their merits not slagging off other cars. Ive owned fast cars for over 40years so I feel entitled to comment on them. Each have their own merits.
I own the fastest Cossie, but I realise its limitations & am not Blinkered of the merits of other cars.
Had the guy who started this met a decent modified Scoob he would have been left for dead, would he have been on here stating he got 'done' by a superior Scoob, I guess not. If you want to test how fast your Cossie is take it to the place where the 'bullshit' stops .
