What I have done in the past when customers did not pay, was fill in the Claims Form with all the details of the claim, added the court fees and statutory interest you can claim on the amount of the debt. Then send a letter with a copy of the filled in form and threaten them, that if the account was not settled within 7 days, the attached claim would be lodged with the County Court. You have a fair chance of them coughing up then

It is the courts, just removes all the paperwork, I used it couple of months back, got my money from the customer as soon as the court letter was recieved by them, PLUS they had to pay my costs for serving summons

thats ok, have a read through the terms, if you feel it would stand up in court ie invoiced and signedfor etc, do it, they would then also have to pay the costs ... which in your case would be more than they actually owe rofl
