Default caliper brackets

2wd and 4x4 are they the same carrier brackets on the rear

what do you mean in brackets

if its where the caliper bolts to then yes they are

if its the sliding prt of the caliper that bolts to the hub then no

basicly i have 4x4 calipers ie the piston side
and have 2wd bracketry that bolts to the hub would this fit

No they won't u need complete 4x4 cals and discs or 2wd stuff

as stated above due to the 4x4 stuff being vented(so thicker than 2w/d)

the disc is vented on the 4wd cars so the bracket needs to be wider to accomodate this
the caliper will also need to be wider to fit over the disc properly

so, to reiterat, no and no

how do you mean?
aftermarket vented discs will be the same dimensions (20mm width i think) so oyu've still got the problem of how to get a 20mm disc into a 0mm slot on the non vented caliper

if you fit a front disc set up to the rears (like some people do) then you would have to get a custom bracket made up to bolt to the rear end so that you could bolt the front calipers to it etc etc

definatly no!!

ive a cheap pair of 4x4 rears on ebay now with the correct caliper carriers for vented disc's.
