Default intercooler options for saph 4x4

what I/C is best for the saph 4x4

want to upgrade, is the RS500 style best to go for?

will RS500 I/C's fit, or is it an RS500 style one i need

the pace RS500 jobby any good

Pro-alloy or Radtec items . Pace is average and has poor cooling above 25psi.

as long as you havent got air con

i dont wanna give up my luxurys but a RS500 cooler is the logical progression for mine

may ditch it in the future

and he'd still keep his air con, and have a more efficient charge air cooling system.

Ł150 for the intercooler inc mods. I have a spare standard turbo to Esccos intercooler hose you could have (gratis), you would then need to buy the charge-cooler water connection pipes and the swan-necked metal pipe that runs along the side of the engine from Ford. Finally, you would need to heat up the 90° elbow on the thermostat housing and rotate it so it is facing forward. Job jobbed (and this would connect it all up as per the Escort).

Alternatively you could buy the chargecooler separation kit as well, which makes this a stand-a-lone set up, instead of using the engine coolant (much more efficient) and negates you having to buy the Ford parts mentioned above, or do the mod to the thermostat.

sounds alot of work.

will keep it in mind. prob easier to junk the air con.

other things to do first though

like fit my gauge and pillar trims

ginge im useing a large turbo escort intercooler on mine with a seperate rad (heater matrix) and a pump without it on charge air temp is around 30 degree at 2 bar at somer temps reading with one of mr rainbirds gauges and at the ecu with the pump on about 24 degree if that helps
