Couldn't agree more mate - Kiss is shit now and I don't listen to it. Sunday nights used to be A1 with Kisstory and now all they do is play sets from festivals. Most of the music they play now is this so called 'R&B' which is frankly the biggest load of old shite I've ever heard. All sounds the same.

I was told (And heard teh Offcom report on the radio) Kiss got done by Offcom and Fined Ł75k due to a stunt Streetboy pulled on the breakfast show, when he called some poor bloke pretending to be from his old place of work (This chap had been made redundant and was re-applying for a new job) and told him they didn't want him back as had personal Hygiene issues etc
That may be why the breakfast show is no more?

i rate rb as being a good dj, bam was getting a bit stale
it's like with most things, you can only be good for so long and then you become the norm (unles you are norm and then you just have people not fucking with you because you look like chuck norris )
i suppose it's good that bam went on a high as the show was starting to lose it's aura of being the best at breakfast, danny baker was a much better listen in the mornings (but hes got worse with his afternoon slot on radio london)
i don't know what happened to steve jackson, and i don't think anyone ever will, he just didn't turn up one morning and i was gutted
mind you, after spending most of the afternoon readig through that link, you only have to scroll down to number 44 on page 23 to see what led to bams dissapearance
it was nothing to do with him leaving on a high, it was all to do with someone not bleeping "fuck" 11 times, leading to the sacking of the producer

according to the report (and i heard the wind up) when street got a call from someone who was after a job back with a firm he called him up and made a right mockery of him
the guy was alsmot crying down the phone and street and bam were almost pissing themselves with laughter
i new it had gone too far and was waiting for the bolke to call in and say it was a great wind up
but obviosly it wasn't as he's gone and got bam and street fired
what ofcom have said is that they wound teh bloke up, which was wrong but there are limits etc
they didn't tell the bloke afterwards it was a wind up
and they broadcast it without the bloke knowing it was a wind up
there was also a lot of referencing to sex and the show stopped bleeping a lot of swear words (although bam did make the point of apoligizing after someone swore on live radio) there were times when you'd hear the blokes swearing and it was recorded and played the morning after with no editing
it's a sad way to end a show's career but if you overstep the line you got to face the consequences, and bam and co overstepped that line more than a few itmes

i know street cgot the occasions clump round the lug hole and then he soon told them it was a wind up
i know it takes balls the size of windmills to pull some of the stunts he pulled over the years, but if it was all done in a jokey manner then it owuldn't have been so bad
the guy was begging for his job back and they were basicly pissing themselves with laughter, no wonder they got complaints
i remember brandon bloc and peasy on kiss too, and there was another one who use to get going on a saturday afternoon who was another loud mouth, but they played good tunes and thats what ocunted

steve jackson got sacked for extending his holiday didnt he and then used the "race" card as a way of hiding he took the piss and got delt with
he was fucking class though and i remember a mate of mine calling him up ages ago,,,,,,, and ending with asking for a "shout out to paul doyle", he then shouted " you mums a whore" was fucking funny as i was standing beside the manager called paul at the time
