Default a proud day for me at usc ,2 cars i built nova and a mk2 vid

hi people we went to santa pod this weekend for usc unfortunatley my bro was not there to see but anyway i built a mk 2 escort for me girlfriends dad he paid and i did all the work (180hp pinto ) and i just finished a nova for one of me mates (2.0 16v engine) i wasnt driving either but me mate in the nova had just done 2 17 second runs (giving it too much off the line ) so i went and let the tyres(right down ) and told him to warm the tyres a bit and and use less revs on the start and heres what happened (13.9 for the nova and 14.7 best for the scort) im well chuffed

What spec was the engine in the nova, and was it still full trim etc?

If it was standard then 13s is an awesome achievement!

Fastest standard XE nova ive heard of in fact if thats the case!

hi mate the engine is standard just got a 2" exhaust standard calibra downpipe and a k&n as for the car it is still all steel (no fibreglass yet) but is pretty stripped out inside ,

we are going to be getting polycarb windows soon and as much fibreglass as poss ,bonnet, boot doors , we also need some good tyres should be a bit quicker still
