Now, I absolutely loved the car on track - felt very very well placed, and handled like a dream, the rear was very controllable too
BUT do I leave it as a fast road car, or continue the mods and make it a road legal track car?
I'm thinking track car personally
Anyone who saw it on track at Ford Fair, please tell me what you thought of it - from the noise, to the tyre smoke to the way it looked

Also, If anyone got any pictures of the E30 on track, can you please post them here
Oh, and it leaves some fantastic "11's" when pulling out of junctions in a hurry

Looked to be going well round track mate
saw it on stand as well, had a few people not in the know scratching their heads
I'd have it as a road car as well as track. You just need to sort the paint out

Cola and I passed you on our way out as well, i think you waved to Cola

I did indeed wave to Cola
I like the road car, but its a bit raucus for an every-day road car, so fast road and track is the way forward, subtle mods and it should be nice

I need to do something about the (lack of) brakes tho - pedal ratio is 4:1 (just measured it) - no frigging wonder my foot was aching after the track session

Looked good when I saw it on the FF stand mate, love the way you've left the interior completely BMW. I'd say leave it as it is and use it on track days until you get that craving for more power/better handling

Gracey get Stevie Wonder to put down the spray gun and get it painted properly
Will be spot-on once painted

Spadge, sounds like we should have met up for a whinge, i spent half the day saying the same "same cars as at every show etc"
TBH the cars side of shows is mainly pretty uninteresting, i go more for the day out as a whole really, there were a couple of excpetions though, like Mick Rogers car and Martins

I fucking LOVED that hairpin Dave
Slidways is the best
More power is not needed chap - brakes that work are needed, and also that poxy frigging oil leak again

Incidentally, the paint on the E30 is now 100% better after 1200 grit and a machine polish
Still a couple of places where I can get it to improve I rekkon, but they can wait for the moment
