4wd throttle position sensor resetting
How do you reset the throttle position sensor on a 4wd lump? My secs monitor is only reading 99% throttle when it is fully open, and when the engine was in the cossie, it read 100%.
Due to moveing the engine about etc etc, the tps may have been knocked a little.
Also, whats the best sump sealer for a 2wd sump? Mine is pissing oil out of the half moon at the front, and I need to change it on wednesday, otherwise no fordfair for me

Any sealant should be good enough as long as you make sure the surface is absolutely dry (oil) and clean.
I find the easiest way to set the throttle pot up is to remove the throttle body off the elbow. Otherwise you have to fuck around under the plenum.

you can just about get at it from under plenum slacken off the screws and turn it (which way i cant remember) untill it hits its stop then tighten. its worth noting that the roller ball in the throttle linkage wears thus causing the butterfly to not open fully. very slight i know but could cause the secs monitor to read as it is
