Default Just lost most of the sent items from my Nokia mobile - How?

Has this happened to anyone else?

The phone was pretty full of messages could it have automatically deleted a load of my sent messages to make some space?

Really annoyed now!

Don't suppose there's anyway of getting them restored is there?

Went into Message Settings and it turns out that I had "Overwriting in sent items" enabled.

Not happy!
