iam rebuilding my escos engine to a higher spec,looking at 600bhp.has anybody any advise on what parts to use.i have ordered some 1000 cc injectors,what turbo gt35?has anybody got a model number?what compression ratio should i use?and anything else i need to know.thanks edited due to typo error

I don't think a T35 turbo will be anywhere near big enough.

T35 no good more like gt30, swedish plenum, 1000cc injectors, bd14 cams is the way you want to go mate

gt30 and 600bhp...

 

i think the gt30 can make 540bhp on its limit

 

you want 600 at the wheels or at the crank? BIG DIFFERENCE...

getting a GT3540RL can get you there obviously, but you need a very strong bottom end, ported head, intake manifold, stand alone etc etc

PLUS the transmission to handle such power...

It won't be cheap mate...

Just sit down with Karlos and Martin and tell them what you want, Karl will spec a Turbo to EXACTLY what you are after. It is not like they havent done it before

 

ive spoken to martin tiff, sorting out some specs monday hopefully. i have been trying to get intouch with karl for months.he never answers his phone lol or gets back to me if i leave a message.he must be very busy. i might hire some big guys to kidnap him,untill hes sorted a live map.

 

He has JUST moved house mate, ring the unit and pass a message on with Oille or mark

 

really, thats the first tie ive ever heard someone say somthing like that about karl






might find it easier for montune to pop round and help onthe weekends at your garage for beer money and then give nick warples a bell as im sure he would pop over too and give a hand



karl seems to vet his customers based on what he beives are time wasters and if he assumes your a time waster he just dont bother calling you back

if hes interested then he will call you back mate


i had that issue and was told by his customers they would speak to karl for me ect so he calls back.replies to emails,,,,,,,,,, i respect them for trying but i didnt feel like thats how i wantd my money spent

And Karl has offered me some more power upgrades which he has been working on . Is there no end to his wizardry

 

it was only a couple of days ago i saw your thread saying you were breaking it and i thought that was a real shame. SOunds like onwards and upwards now which is nice

 

at the end of the day ive put too much effort into this car,plan was run it at the spec it was,and if it went ok upgrade it.now if i gotta rebuild it, may as well take it to the next level.
