Default new clutch problem.....please help

i have just fitted a new clutch to my girlfriends 106.
it ended up being a bit of a nightmare.
but got worse at the end.

i bolted all the mounts uo, fitted the driveshafts back in etc.

then went to fit the clutch cable.
the arm that goes into the box is as floppy as anything.

it took me forever to get the box and engine to line up and really dont want to go through it all again.
what would cause the arm to be floppy?

if it has fallen off, you will have to undo the bell housing bolts and see it you can prise the box away from the engine and see if you can get a hand up in there, if not the box will have to come out.

Oh you have got the clutch in and fitted all correctly with the friction plate the right way round ??
