Whats Happening this year???

Ive heard that on the rule and regs recieved by my m8, that competitors have to take there car to the event the night before for scruiteneering (spl) etc, and then have to leave the car on site for the night and ONLY he is allowed to camp on-site with the vehicle ??? anyone else heard owt ???

The above ruleings a bit shit if true.. what about the support team for competitors ?? where do they stop ?? are they allowed to stop on-site ??

Is this whats happened every year as it's his 1st time ??

In the past have locked my car in a Hotel compound, had a good nights sleep & turned up in the morning. The very basic checks were done when you arrive. No idea if its the same this year.

Never been aware of camping being allowed at any of the other 4 TOTBs and we've been to all of them.
