Default Urgent Help Please – Co Adjustment On L8 4x4.

I have my MOT tomorrow (Wednesday) and suspect my Co level may be a bit high.

How do I quickly adjust it (and put it back again after) to get it through.

Car is a 92 so I think it is the 3.5% category ?

Cheers for any help.

if the car has been set up properly its more likley to be a sensor fault like map sensor or somin..... the c.o screw if you have one is a global fuel adjuster and really you shouldnt adjust that without checking fuelling at all rpm sites after.

Yep - but doesnt use it anymore as it has a stage one collins chip (Which I believe run very rich).

I thought their was a Co screw somewhere on the brain that just adjusted it at tickover ?

It is on the front panel of the ECU. I had the same problem for my MOT and Stu told me to turn it down. Passed no probs. There will be a blank plug in front of it which was a bit fiddly to remove.

Thats what I thought - Front panel being the face you see without removing the ecu from its holder ?

Will let you know how it gets on ...
