Default 4x4 Cossie Clutch Cable

Clutch cable went on my saph today drove it home in first :-(

Ok so friend has got a spare cabble anyone know how to fit it? any tips? and is it a big job?

My advice would be to fit the gearbox end first m8, then feed it through and attach to the pedal.


Or buy a haynes for a more in depth reply

Sorry but i disagree with the above advice!
Feed it through the bulkhead and attach it to the pedal.
Get someone to hold the clutch pedal fully up or wedge it up with something if your on your own and pull the cable to attach it to the clutch fork.
Press pedal a few times to adjust

attached it to box first and couldn't see any way of pulling that cable onto the pedle so disconnected it from there connected it to the pedal first much easier! cheers for your help!

As SPADGE says you NEED to attatch it to the pedal 1st.

I use a small scissors jack under the pedal and wind it up untill you can push the ratchet forward. This will allow you to hook the cable into it. Then go under the car and because the pedal is still lifted you will be able to use pliers and pull the cable onto the fork

Should take around 30 mins
