SPEEDING
i was coming out through the medway tunnel near where i live today at about 70 mph and on my left i saw an old bill car with 2 coppers standing outside of it but i couldnt see if they had anything in their hand like a radar, if they did can those hand held radars read your number plate,or is it just the yellow cameras and the grey speeding vans that can do it. im a bit ancious i was doing 70 in a 50 limit slowing down from 100 in the tunnel

It is possible, but they would have to have had the camera which would have to have been a laser one hooked up to the video/camera imager.
Its a lot of trouble to set up.
Was one of them holding something up to his face because you have to look thru the lense like a telescope, pointing it at the oncoming car so it pings the numberplate.
If they were`nt I would`nt worry to much.(famous last words).
There would have been a shit load of wires as well on view from the camera.

only prob with these cars is they sound faster than they really going - especially in a tunnel!!

Gillingham F.C. were playing at home today against Preston North End
They couldve just been the coppers waiting to escort the away team bus, they park there and down by the BP petrol station normally with some motorcycle escorts.
The Gills won 2-1 by the way

i got cought the other wk doning 58 in a 30mph 
my speedo was'nt working and it was a duel carrige way and i thought it was a 50 at least just got to wait and see now my mum got the letter as the cars in her lane
