Default Will petrol go "off" after a year?

MK2 XR2

Cars been parked up for about 14 months with half a tank in and it starts and runs well but seems slightly off sometimes just a bit. Mixture spot-on and cars had a full service

Will a fresh tank help any? its got no tax ATM tho...

Heres my new baby...

My Rs 1800 had petrol left in it for 10 months. Started it up, ran a bit rough but filled it up with optimax and is running fine !!

Petrol evaporates - sometimes quicker on cars that don't have quite as air-tight seals and hose clips....
