here we go again same old shit
let me explain the story
i used to buy all my tubing from rally design full stop
the do special tubing and weld in inserts
i have used these for yrs and yrs never had a problem
until other week a lad said he broke them i offered to fix the problem
i never heard anything back apart from sombody saiyin he lost a wheel and car hit a curb or something
he never took me up on the offer to fix them for free and find out what happened
somebody else has a problem as well again i sent them some new arms and offered to pay any costs when am back in full force
haven't heard from him yet but i sent the new arms out last week within 2 days of him ringing me up
no for the tube
when i went into hospital for 3 months i had ppl wanting tubular arms and they waited for me
till i got out
i rang rally design to order 20 metres of special tubing which i always used and they dint have enough in stock so i went else where and payed over the odded for 8mm wall cold drawn seamless tube which cost me a fortune but needed cash as i just come out hospital
then i got a call about some old arms breaking the lad that posted on here
ages ago
well i seen the tube had snapped off NOT MY WELDING OR NEAR THE WELDS it shed off and was rusty in the pic
i rang rally design to find out what going off
and in back of the old catalogue they offer no warranty on parts supplied for rose use as there motor sport dealership
that mean anything in there catalogue has no warranty
so now i dint use there tube again or anything that may cause danger to others
at the time coming out of hospital i had no insurance or anything at zoo so i offered the lad a replacement but never heard anything
back
i also emailed customers i remember from last yr to check for cracks and i would change frame for free to stop a bad name
trouble is now days everybody wants to drive the knife in
i offered to replace parts that were not my fault in breaking i can not test every pair of arms i make i have to trust suppliers like customers trust me
trouble is the end user aways gets the blame
makes me think anything like this is worth it for the money i make on them
i cant test ever pair of arms i sell as i have to bend them in a press to test them

brom is a great bloke and his work is perfection to say its all off the top of his head, a mate of mine had to have some serious modification done on his saff not long back, problem was the car was gettin mapped the following day, (left it bit late) brom stayed all nite to get it done from 6pm to 11.30am next morning. not many people would do that.

as for my turn around time
no i aint the fastest turn around time
you got to understand i make parts to order only
so everything has to be made up from nothing
i do all this on my own a 1 man band no help from others
i think i do a lot of work for one person to cope with and i have a big reputation all around the world so i must be doing something right

sorry, this post wasn't meant to stir anything, just you get told this, and told that by different people, obviously i've been told Brom can do such conversions, but have been unable to get hold of him, and i just wanted to hear from peoples experiences before I decide if I want to put out what to me is a fair bit of money. For example if I ask about place X (could be anywhere) and theres a few people who are unhappy with the service provided from whatever place id just like to know. As im sure if a groupe of people haven't been treated right by ANY place they wouldnt want to send anyone else there. Just again to say im not trying to stir, hence why I said people could pm me so loads of people dont jump in saying this n that. Im glad Broms been on and explained about the arms as it shows if theres something up hes obviously not going to try and hide from it.

It's always the way with the internet though Brom.
Important thing is that most people know the levels you go to to keep the company name good.
They say you can always judge a company by how well they deal with the problems that will always occur, and I think you've dealt with em very well.

Just to show all the troublemaking cocks and of course all the decent people as well just how good Broms workmanship is,here is my newly modified rally spec beam before it has been blasted and powdercoated...
The pics don`t really do the quality justice,the penetration on the welds is excellent and the 8mm wall tubing looks bombproof......a mate of mine who is a coded welder on the rigs remarked..."Fook me.....What`s that going on....a tank.."
Absolutely no doubting the quality of Zoo products,buy with confidence....
