Nobels use the ST220 based (well, the V6 Duratec) engine and Twin Turbod, so may be a good option.

i somehow doubt it will be beeing an old ford engine.

would have thought the cosworth 2.8 was the best, definately one of the newer engines though.

as you know the ST24 lump can be easily twin turboed, look at the noble.

Imagine that with 2- t34's

highest power N/A may just mean lairy cams and higher compression that actually make it a worse bet for turbo'ing

what cras that in ?

turbo technics made a 2.9 v6 twin turbo and im sure that kicked out some power

but the duratec is bar far the best option, if there good enough for noble to use and still use them i think its a winner

as stated 400 bhp std the noble is, so if your going to start from scratch whick you will have to, to lower the compression god knows how much power you could make if done rite

I agree markb, the boa or bob, eg the 24v cosworth is a much better engine than a duratec, better heads better flow. you can get 300 bhp using the FBE kit in N/A

u mean fitzs?

id still go st220 all all day long though

ok the 24v boa engne can produce 220 plus with cats ect in std form , but the st does that with cats etc so remove them and all the other crap its going to be more than the boa bob engines
