the sign writer at work used to do the stripes for ford years ago and they used to have a stencil for em but tbh i MUCH prefer that one

think he needs to remove the mouldings though to make it perfect

well ive just no more than 1 hour ago just removed the engine the car had in it from the boot of my cabrio

that car was broken AGES ago,,,,,,, as i bought the engine for it in september

did suit the car though had to be said,,,,,,, thats a vortex tiger stripped car, they have anotehr style of stripe to most and shows where the cars been

as for the stripes the car was going to be tracked any way so decided to stripe it myself(didnt think it would be any worse than wot it was with the few battle wounds it allready had)and had nothing to lose
the thing is with decals and stripes is that it will stand out more,so people will see it as a yes no thing straight away
someone once said to me that tiger stripes were so 80,s
and with cossies been made in the 80,s and turbosystems did them in early 90,s,it dosnt seem so bad,
everyone has there own oppinion
but remember plain is the same

Hello im a chav cunt!!!!! oh and i own a saff (cos i cant afford an escort) nothing to do with the fact i prefer the sierra,s. 3dr or saff.and no im not slagging the escort cos i do love em.

i spent alot of time trying to get the stripes to look right and the right colours,had a big love of the turbosystems saff and wanted to be different so i thought as i grew up in the 80,s and 90,s i,d do something that werent seen much. alot of people may not like it but alot do. and to be honest i couldnt give a fuck.i did it for me.
basky,s car looks good and serves its purpose covering the battle scars,plus i had no trouble spotting him on track at combe.


oh and im not really a chav. im 29 own my own house and dont wear any burberry.but i do admit i am a cunt

With regards to the ford stripes as per another post above, the wrc rally stripes were actually painted on at Boreham and only one other customers car was painted there as well (Antony Fords white saff) and it wasnt cheap!!!!

For whoever it was who asked about who does them, i do but wouldn't do them on a supply basis only as each one I do (like Nikki's turbo for example) are cut purely as a one off for the car).

Tiger stripes look good on some cars, OK on others and shite on others.

Had them on the saff for a while but took them off after about two months

hello mate.sorry to anyone who does wear burberry but i thought by this post we all had to tar people with the same brush if they have something someone doesnt like.ha at the end of the day people do and wear what they like its their choice. cheers for the compliments mate and like i have said before mate i think yours looks smart as well even if you did do it to cover the wounds. at least we get spotted and recognised in ours.

As mentioned it all comes down to lack of personal taste.

I think they can work really well if matched with a global hypercolour bum bag, wrap around laser sunglasses and if possible a matching shell suit.

i have seen it around mainly wen i came into a1 motorstores and world of i.c.e i had a series 2 then, i know have the saph, oh and i met u at southend once on pf night with dave who had the magenta red saph and the silver popular turned rs turbo if u know who i talking about he has sold the saph i believe

Like Neil I loved them in the old skool days & thought I'd make my car stand out a lil from the rest of the white RS turbo's!
6 hours or longer it took round chirs's for him to finish mine
I knew what I wanted & how I wanted them, so I thought the end result didn't come out to bad. Like Chris said they are purley cut to how you want them & put on the car, so me being a woman was very fussy, ay chris
