Default Help needed.....clutch rachet.......

I put a new clutch cable on my can and when i was pressing the clutch it was not disengaging properly and the ratchet was not taking the slack up so i got under the car and got our lass to press the clutch then i jammed a hammer handle in behind then when she let the clutch out it ratcheted up but now its gone to far and the fu**ing clutch slips ........

HOW DO I RESET THE CLUTCH RATCHET .........I CAN'T SEE I THING UNDER THE DASH

lift teh pedal to the top and keep it there.

Now have someone pull teh cable outer away from teh bulkhead about 6 inches.

Next, release teh pedal

Now release the cable, and you will hear it adjust.
