Only trouble with full sleepers is they look so shit that nobody will race you, if you see that POS going fast you just expect some pikey fuck caning it and keep your distance.

Maybe, but it would sure lessen the chances of a full bore race where they was really trying, as theyd not give it full moo from the start if they thought they was just up against a shitter.
Or theyd just let you go. Itd only really work if you catch someone giving it loads, cant insight someone in to it in a shitter.

Best races would be in a bone stock looking saff or similar i reckon where they thought theyd teach you a lesson in fast in their flashy evos.

Tho if you can find some clowns to properly race for cash or summat, then shitter looking ones are best.

thats excactly what i do, and on the motorway keep along side them then when they are flat out usually 155mph wave and pull away

Most fast cars you see on the M-Way arnt going fast, and need some "encouragment" and a shitter looking car wont make them wanna race really.
But quick looking ones do, well quick enough, but so they still think theyl make mincemeat outa it.

The fact is a lot of people in sheddy looking sleepers rave about the cars they've beaten in races but in all fairness they've caught a lot on the back foot.

Yes i bigged it up to the hilt...because i'd been in the car at full throttle,now as you know i own a near 400bhp cossie which is obviously a fairly quick car by all accounts,and i know this pug would have munched it

when the power estimates were bandied around,i wasn't as informed about VNT turbos as i'd like to have been,meaning i wasn't in a position to discount it,although on physical size alone,i doubted the figures from day one! but Jamie had printouts from Ecosse and he beleived them,so passed on that info on here

and it's a great sleeper car,as nearly every1 would want to race it on the basis it being a gti,then when you unleash 300bhp+ it goes mental and whoops ass

sadly he doesn't own it anymore,but trust me...it's a beast

and it had been timed BTW, 12.2 qtr on less boost than it had when sold

someone i know had a corsa sport with a C20LET conversion, running about 320BHP with a LSD etc, still with the 1.4 Badge and Standard wheels. He used to get loads of races and obviously rape them, but it was plagued with problems so he got rid
