Thinking of buying a D500 tomorrow but there cheaper on 02 and i wanna throw my vodafone sim in it, anyone help?

fk's said it would work on any network cos it accepted t mobile

it doesnt

well ive got a d500, it came brand new with tmobile sim in it, i got some o2 sims last week, chucked it in and it works, didnt unlock or anything so maybe yours would work too, if not just go to a phone shop and have it unlocked for a few quid, the price for unlocking should be less than the money you save from getting it on o2 im sure

Its perfect for me, does everything i need it to, plus more.

Theres obviously phones out there with a better camera but the d500 is getting on abit now so thats to be expected, certainly not bad at taking pics though. Very good menus, easy to find everything, mp3 player is nice too.

Oh and its built like an army tank, mines been dropped so many times, nowt wrong with it though

K750i is a superb phone and is fook all like any of my remotes

Andy - if it's just a case of you wanting to keep the same number - you can ask vodafone to pass it on. If you want to use a different network - you will have to get the fone unlocked - as did I on the D500. (jammy sod who got it done for a fiver - it cost me £20 to get mine done)

My d500 was tmobile pay as you go, i put an o2 pay as you go sim in there and it worked without me unlocking it
