Default Norton Internet Security/Antivirus question...

Ok, yes I know it's Norton, this is not my PC

Basically, they have it setup so it scans every friday at 8pm, but they want to change the day and time that it scans each week. How can they do this?

I've looked through the settings but no joy

Cheers

I can't even find that mate, this PC is running so slow

Is that in the main menu bit for "Norton Internet Security" then?

get rid of it on the sly then. norton creates more problems and doesnt even find the worst viruses, its useless. when its running, press ctrl +alt + del and just see how many processes it has. its stupid! and as for AOL broadband, dont get me started!

i had norton on my old computer, and a trojan killed the HD. i put the drive in another computer, and norton said everything was fine, whereas AVG went beserk! (SP??)

i'd just get rid of it, theres a reason why it comes free on every computer from PC World, and is Half Price every week!

yeah the combo of AVG and ZoneAlarm Pro has stopped any virus getting in for over 2 years now. i also reccomend HijackThis. all you do is run it, and it tells you all the processes your computer opens on default, as well as other things (like Internet Explorer Search Bars), and you can get rid of the suspect/useless ones. i tried for weeks to get rid of a silly popup and search bar, and HijackThis sorted it no problem. you can also back up all the things you get rid of, and put them back on if your computer becomes unstable.

hope that helps
