this one is 4 all u mechanics on here,

just been to view a little fiesta 1996 1.3 seems a nice little car but after u throttle it a little it appears to be huntin to idle again and nearly stall, is this anything serious, also noticed the clutch would need to be replaced would that have anything to do with it? ,

shes only been drivin 6 months so dont want to get her something immaculate cause we all know wot new drivers are like with little knocks etc

I drive fiesta's to smoke around in as they are cheap, insur etc and run on fresh air, i wrote one off just before xmas last year, a bit too much sideways on a roundabout lol i bought another one with similar syptoms as you have described above, turned out to be the single pot injector which cost £600 from ford for a new item, i thought fook that as i only give a monkey for the car and bought a second hand one for a nifty touch wood car is running alright

Do they have an Idle control valve on that model fiesta? My Escort did the same as you describe, changed the ICV and it was fine, there about £80 from fords or take your chances at a scrappers.
