Right gents i was just wondering if anyone knew anywhere that rents trailors or flatback wagons, or anything to get a car home with????????????????????????

I have something to tow a trailor with but the car is in portsmouth so was wanting to rent a flatback wagon or similar cause its a bit safer than a trailor

alps, I have a trailer the shonky red one at the track night, or jane jopling at stokesley rents out very good tilt bed ones, dunno where or if you van rent a flatback wagon from tho.

Whats it like towing an empty trailor all that way though??????????????

I might give them a bell but i cant see it being cheap.

I was thinking of setting of midnight next friday to miss all the traffic and so we can take it easy

the Jane jopling trailers are superb, towing it empty is easy, no problems whatsoever, it's towing with the car on that is harder, what you got to tow with and whats the car going on the trailer my guess is a golf !!

Its a mk1 golf gti, it needs a paint and a head gasket but solid which is what i need.

I will look into the jane jopling ones, just hope there not expensive

they are 40 quid a day plus 100 quid deposit, mine is 20 quid full stop
as clive said he took it to london and back in a day with no probs
