hi all, does anyone no anything about orange phones, iv got a pay as you go vodaphone and want to put that sim in a pay as you go samsung orange phone, only when you put the sim in the phone says network lock and asks for a password?

You need to get the phone unlocked so it can accept all network sim cards and not just vodaphone ones as it stands now - this is why it aint accepting your orange one.
