Whats the 3rd connection for? Its the spade like one thats not on my old one

just ignore it then .But put an insulated crimp on there to make sure nothing touch's it.

so use the 2 screw ones as that spade thing is on opposite side?

Yes should be fine but if it dont work swap them over but still cover up pole not being used.

did this and car never turned over

changed the wire for the other, and B BINGO
