S2 Starter motor help
Man its doin my head in now
have to clunk it with a hammer when left for more than an hour, and if its been on a raggin, I have to leave it 10 mins with the bonnet up to cool down before it will turn over.
Left it for 30 mins the other day cooling down and had to bump it on my own
Can I attack the one I have with WD40? Or a case of getting another reconditioned one?
Anyone got a good one? 1.8 diesel starters are supposed to be good?

hi mate have you got a ek brakes near you ? if so get one from them , much cheaper than ford 
iv just put one on my s2 and the heat dont bother it at all 
easy job to do as well
