If so, I have seen this quite a few times where the boost pressure pushes the ring outwards into the fibreous part, causing a leak
A simple "O" ring that bites into the steel ring, stopping it from moving outwards will prevent this! And the good thing O rings is that you dont need to use a £ 56.00 - 64.00 group A gasket.....as the £ 19.98 late Es Cos one will do nicely

Oh and BTW, my skyline jokes are getting as tired as your super ability to pull girls and have the fastest cars..
Hey, whatever you guys think aye? Yes his car's an 8v..shame as it will slay most of big hp cossie boys and drives it everyday.. I'm not saying I know everything about his car, I'm not the tuner..uh he is. I was just saying that the High Compression piston thing..might be a little bit different thinking here in our camp, you don't believe it?? I invite you guys to come to NYC where his car is, watch him race it, and then drive it home, when I hear that most cossie guys over there can't do that?
Not slagging off anybody, like I said, we just do things a bit Different, that's all.
Now, steve go back to your import...and not your skyline!

Jus talking about peoples girlfriends in a nasty way is WELL below the fookin belt for "friendly" pisstakes, and all that "import" bollocks is just plain racist, thats like if you had a black girlfriend and i started some shit about her being your slave or somthing FFS!
And the 8v 16v thing, 8v's CAN stand a bit more compression before det, but not LOADS more, hence why i asked what compression, what fuel, what boost...
