where is it cracking mate?
have you got a damper going down to the gearbox to take the turbo's weight?
i doubt coating will stopp the cracking, you need to sort out why it is stressing first!

Sorry but in most cases tubular manifolds and turbocharged engines don't go toegether very well!! Ceramic coating won't help your cracking problem.

The only solution to cracking is to use the correct design and materials for the manifold as well as correct turbo support. You must consider areas of expansion, vibration and flex when the engine rocks in order to develop a reasonable reliable solution.

it seems to crack were all 4 go in2 1! i have a gearbox suport! which has helped but it cracked again ton monday! (under bonnet flamer kit )

so no point in gettin it coated them just helps with temps!

So karl would u say poor materials/design!? i.e. not a lot I can do about it!?

ANywhere else I can support it!? would it help to suport the down pipe a bit more!?

Yup, its doubtful that its the heat causing it to crack, its the material the manifolds made from.

To be fair you can't beat the std ERST cast manifold. It's so damn durable, NEVER fails and you can get 350bhp from it with the correct turbo and down pipe.

think its a combination of poor material\design

there's a fook loads of weight on that manifold the stress's on the welding joints must me huge

Weight of the Turbo
Weight of the Exhaust about 60-70% of it.
Weight of the manifold itself.

put that together with the stress's of movement and bingo

its a CRACKING TIME
