yeah bretts still tours but just doesnt wrestle, thats how i met him when he came over here for a tour, he cracked my wrist when i shock his hand at the end of the show the cont
the interview i've got with hims really quite interesting as he starts off talking about when he started refing in japan and just goes through his whole career although you really need to be awake to watch it cos its about 3-4hours of him sitting at the hart house talking
i havent watched it in a few years but going by memory he said the original plan for the first ladder match was for him and scott hall as he thought up the concept of a ladder match, but he got dumped for shawn micheals, also saying when he wrestle shawn for the tittle shawn was continuesly trying to make him look bad by going dead weight on him.
theres quite an interesting story about the summerslam they did over here with the bulldog and brett in the main event, bulldog was in really bad shape through drugs and half way through the match he went blank (happend to me once or twice ) so brett had to carry him through the rest of the match.

there have been countless incidents in the past where wrestlers have been so doped up they have problems, on one had it's the fact that they need to work to get paid and on the other (ilke eddie) he wanted to work through the pain because he wanted to go out an entretain the fans
it's a hard life being on the raod and putting on 4 shows a week, i don't think many people understand how grueling a life it is as a pro wrestler
i don't think many people know that vince pays his staff 3 months in arrears so they can sort out the share of the gate recipts and bonuses ect so you are there slogging your guts out knowing you won't get paid for the next 3 months, any time off you have you wil really feel it
i could watch wrestling 247 if it was on but the wrestling channel has opened up a whole new generastion of fans to the sport, mainly because it's not wwf related and they can see unconventioanl styles going up against one another, they also aired a whole lot of shoot interviews, i saw one about the nasty boys where they said them and shawn michaels clambered over the gates of graceland and took a piss on elvis' grave what more could you ask for
and the bar that bradshaw and faarooq used to demolish on a regular basis? that belong to one of the referees bothers so they got a coplete refurb ever few months for free
juding from your posts chris, it looks like you might have spent a ew hours inbetween the ropes yourself, go on, spill the beans

the dudleys have jumped ship to tna
chris y2j jericho is, as mentioned, doing his music thing
all 4 were released by the wwf a while back
the one legged wrestler was zack gowen, it was a gimmick and thats all it ever was going to stay
you couldn't seriously have a one legged guy beating you in the ring when all his offence consisted of a drop kick
fair play to the dude for trying, and well done for getting ot the biggest stage of them all, and even bigger pops to him for getting in with hulk hogan

Watched the longest yard the other night how many wwe people was in it
Watched the longest yard the other night how many wwe people was in it
at work, can't link the site
the longest yard had plenty of guys in it, the big guy is now the great khali (dalip singh) and it also had stone cold steve austin in it as a gaurd
hardy got the boot for being a bit of a junkie too which is why he got the boot
liz was another druggie who od'd at lugers pad
he was dealing steriods from his yard so got done for that
freddie passed away about 2 weeks after his last tv appearance, the tune they put up for that was just perfect for a tribute (my imortal i think by evenesance, the same group that did that tune for daredevil, brethe me to life i think?)
rock throwing the title of the bridge was classic and when foley bought out all the oldies from rocks past too, like his school teacher and all that
hogan WAS back, he sort of comes and goes as the storyline dictates, but vince is legendary for gicing people 1 week contracts so nothing new there
he'll probably be back for july the 4th but i wouldn't count on him being back in the ring full time
DX spirit squad? tey look like mini hulks to me
