Has anyone taken Zyban?
Got some here from the Docs...
Can anyone post up their experiences with it? I've heard mixed things, not entirely sure I know what to expect.

According to my doc, it was designed as an anti-depressant, but was found to be absolute crap, but had the odd side-effect of people not wanting to smoke...
Really places your faith in something, you know?

i used it last march and i havent smoked since the day my son was born on the 24-03-05 
you have to follow the instructions and set a date to stop,take the tablets and carry on smoking until the set date to stop...i took it and after 3 or 4 days i was going to 11 am before having a smoke without realising,it was really strange as i normally had a smoke when i got up with a cuppa and was 40 a day...i also had to smoke outside due to the coming baby and noticed that the longer i took it, the fags were getting longer in my plant pot ashtray(used to remind me of the shit i was inhaling) until it was literally just 2 or 3 drags and then throwing them away.... for me it really worked but you have to really want to give up and be in the right frame of mind.

Without noticing your inclination/desire to light up dwindles.
I started taking them, set my quit date & stopped Now the biggest prob i had was my girlfriend at the time still smoked so, if we went out it was difficult not to want one from habbit.
They require you to go back to see the nurse after taking the tables for about a week
Told her i had stopped - not touched a fag for 5 days (big achievement when you have smoked EVERY day dor about 20yrs)
she said that was good but remember "you can smoke when taking them" worst thing for me
Next night i had one
within a week i had stopped taking the tablets & was back to normal
So you still need willpower to succeed.
As far as getting the popcorn is concerned Not an issue
I still performed like a stallion

My missus wanted to use these to give up smoking, i told her to fook right off!
