I remember having a raleigh winner with the drop handlebars...

Well, I reversed them so the drop was the top, only I didnt tighten them enough...

Approaching a roundabout and went for the brake, bars dropped to normal

I crushed my bollocks on the crossbar.

Cried for an hour after, but see it as fookin hilarious now!

The trusty Wildcat

I remember those where so ace at time. Sad to see they were just actually a normal bike with loads of plastic stuck on.

I wonder how many people had one of these and now own an Evo?

Spoke things!!!

I was never allowed mods

I had to be one of them kids who pegged a piece of old corn flakes packet onto the forks so it rubbed on the spokes to make the motorbike noise....

I was the loudest in the street

Spokey dokeys!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And I used to ride over a coke can with the front wheel and it got stuck on and sounded like a motorbike.

I also used to peg playing cards to by rear strut into the spokes so the faster I peddled the louder it went..........
