Yes Tony, have decided to sack in the s2 and get something with a bit more pizazz 
It looks a bit like one of these

runs ok, but think it should be smoother for a modern car and is a bit juddery at idle 
Might be an idea to book it into Vauxhall for a 40k service and just let them sort it
