what would you do ???
ok, phone upgrade time again with o2
i want the N80 but o2 want 130 quid for my yearly upgrade and theres nothing they can do to drop the price etc even though a N80 to a new o2 customer is only 100 quid.
orange have the same phone for only 50 quid but the tarrif isnt as good, for my 30 quid a month now i get 400 mins and 1000 texts, for slightly a bit more on orange i get 200 mins and 1000 texts,
what would you do ? stay with o2 and stump up 130 quid or swap to orange for the cheaper phone but not quite as good tariff ?
another thing to do is offswet the cost of the o2 phone by selling my 6680, so how much is a 9 month old 6680 worth that could do with a new facia but comes with original 64mb mem card plus a 128mb mem card with tom tom mobile 5 on it plus a additional 512mb mem card ?
really dont know what to do the robbing coooooonts lol

MP for K.I.S.S
When my 12 months was up, I wanted a new phone. I rang O2 and told them I wanted to cancel my contract as it was costing too much per month. They bartered with me and I ended up on the same tariff for Ł6 a month with a Ł75 resign credit, which basically meant free rental for 12 months. I told them to keep the Ł75 and put it towards the cost of an upgrade, which they agreed to.
I got a new Sony Ericsson phone plus a Ł6 a month tariff and I only had to agree to sign up for 12 months and keep all the existing rates and tariffs.

Guy at work just got this;
Stunning phone, and nice to use aswell! The only thing that lets it down is the lack of expandable memory. It has 128mb built in (which isn't bad for internal memory) but has no card slot, so if you take a lot of pics/vids or use it as an MP3 player, then it might not be the phone for you.....
That said, the new Samsung phone (can't remember what it's called ) is very VERY similar looking, also has touchscreen buttons but has expandable memory....

i would stick with o2 they are a good network and then sell you phone on ebay and use that cash to put towards your phone!!!
you could try scaring o2 by saying your cancelling and going elsewhere, a guy at the o2 store told me to do that because they will do anythintg to keep you apparently!!!

i had the same problem when i wanted a new bluetooth ear piece when i upgraded, if i had cancelled my contract i could have had it free but because i was renewing they said i had to pay, i was like no im canceling it then so they said i could have it for 20 instead of 50 i said no again cause i could still get it free so they agreed in the end but took a long time to get their!
