how can i change my pc to save as jpeg not bmp??
ive tried to save some pics and logos off the web . i usually just save them to my pics and then bluetooth them to my phone . but tonite it saves but the picture comes up blank ??? ive noticed that when i save picture to... its coming up as saving as a bitmap bmp. file??? even if the thing is listed as a jpg it still saves as a bmp ???
ive tried changing the save as file type but the only option is bmp.???
what am i doing wrong now..............
just want every pic to save as jpeg !
any help pls???

Most pics, when being saved from a website, are in jpeg form already so that will be the defualt setting. Usually you can also select file type when saving (right click the pic, select save as, the under the file name box there is a drop window for file type)
Some pics tho, only let you save as the filetype is. So if the pic is a BMP, it might only let you save as a BMP. Likewise with GIF images.....
If I get a pic that will only save as a Bitmap, I just save it, open in paint and re-save as jpeg as said

Emptying the cache doesn't always fix it. When it doesn't fix it you need to move your My Documents folder. This is how I have had to sort mine twice.

I always tick every box including compress old files. Also, you'll find clearing everything makes your PC work faster too
