That my car has stoped leaking oil


Well after chaing a few things over the other night, i finally went out in the car to RS meeting. After 30mile round trip taking it asy about 80mph on M way etc. I parked the car in the garage, and after checking this morn there was no oil on the floor


True test will be when i give the car a hiding.

What did you change Rhys apart from the cam cover gasket?

It was loosing a fair bit of oil on the floor!

LOL yeah i thought maybe its finally run out of oil

Changed CAm Cover, Pressure Swtich, Sorted breather so its breathing under car. And made sure pipes was installed properly. The flame trap wasnt in 100% so i fitted that correctly.

Atm seems ok but knowing my luck it wont last for long

 

it will just start coming out of somewhere else mate

or maybe the level has fallen to a point where it is so thick it cant leak

or maybe, just maybe, it's a crasy idea but it may just work, you have sorted the probs

 

didnt think oil leaks was curable on cossies

 

its a fake if its got no oil leaks!

sure its not a bmw?

 

bmw drivers are normally that tight they don't put oil in.!!!!

 

Funny you should say that

My mate has had his M3 for over 2 and half years and never done an oil change
He did buy a litre top up tub the other month though!

Oil ..... in a car? The only oil I use is the one I put on my body when I'm sunbathing.

 

Just done 500miles in mine since the bottom end was rebuilt and it's not used or lost any oil

Hope you have sorted yours, i can't stand oil leaks.

Someone please break into Rhys garage and pour some oil under his car so everything is back to normal again.

Yeah car is all 100% now for 5 mins

FOr Sale sign will be going in car at shows mate, longer time goes on more i want to sell it. I seen the next car i wont and its for sale now
