Phase sensor
how do you line it up to gap it correctly and what gaps best? (metric)

i set mine to 0.3mm,using a feeler gauge between the 'contact' points

cheers, might be a daft question but how do you line up the sensor so you can gap it?

the rotor arm should point to the little marker on the dizzy body, turn the engine over to align the phase sensor so it lines up with the cam on the dizzy, but ignore engine timing position..... i think!

so its a game of turning it over till it lines up? this could take some time
cant you turn it over by hand and do it that way?

yes thats what i meant, or put the car in gear and rock it over...

will try rocking it in gear first, whats the best way to turn it over by hand if rocking it fails?

22mm or erm 24 mm socket and ratchet on the bottom pulley
