I think the 24 was more like 1997 as it was a mk2, and the mk2 started around p reg i think.

I never seen a mk1 ST mondeo and worked at fords for the last 15 years

ST was avab on the later mk2 97 mondeos

Early mk1 mondeos did have 24v engines but where not badge ST there where SI or ghias

Im sure there was an st badge above the side repeters too

ST24 is a MK2 and was available from 1997 on an 'R' plate

there were a couple of early MK2 demo cars on a 'P' plate

Never was a MK1 ST24, (it would be a mk1 V6 Si/ghia with an RSAP retrofitted).

Never made a Mk1 ST24, they where Si 24v...

The Mk2 came as an ST24, and later the ST200...

Although on my ST200 on the Logbook it was classed as an Si

Yup st24 is mrk2 mondie ,i have had both mrk 1 and 2 mondies

mrk 1 are either si24v or ghia24v , mrk 2 st24s can be both kitted and non kitted versions 'RSAP'

i have heard of some peeps st24s being stamped on the log book as si's but have full st24 kits
