here's what i don't get...

...he goes through all that agro planning his brothers escape, and when it goes wrong ans his brother gets off PI, he uses the "backup plan" and ives him a pill to get into the infirmary...



...so why the fuck didnt he just give him the pill in the 1st place in visiting hours or somthing and say "take this, then jump out the window and you'll escape"

oh, and the tatoo... it looks NOTHING like a fookin blueprint

Not going to comment on the plot-holes, because those I will admit are there......and the ending to the last episode was just stupid (but I won't say anything, for those that are following it on terrestrial).

However, I will comment on the tattoo, Jim......what do you think the guards would have done, when he was being signed into the prison, if they saw a big tattoo on his back saying "HERE'S HOW TO ESCAPE THE PRISON" with a big clear map? Hence, why he had to make the "blueprints" look like images, that to a normal person would just look like a mixture of images, but that Michael himself would be able to relate to the corresponding parts of the blueprints...

i'm up to the flashback episode (16) i hope it gets exciting again, as the last few episodes have been a bit of a downer

Rich - form what I heard, there IS plans for a second series, but it hasn't been filmed yet

Most times the second series is being filmed whilst the first is being shown, but for some reason the creators waited untill 2/3's of the season had been shown before writing the next season

thrush, they dont write the show until theyre futher into the season, as it can change mid-season. if its getting bad viewing figures etc. they can often change plotlines etc. or sometimes they miught not get the same actors etc. also they might axe it mid-way like westwing, firefly etc.

lost is a good example, they axed those 2 birds towards the end of the second series, that was unplanned at the beginning.

I think it's absolutely mint and yes there is a PB 2 coming out soon i hear.
It's the same with 24 though, totally flawed half the time, i wanna know what size mobile battery Jack Bauer has, it never goes flat lol....

PS - another similiar program from around 10years ago filned in the style of PB & 24 is called Murder1 - you can get them on DVD at WH Smith etc and they were top quality too.
