while the phone is hooked to the PC via the USB you wont beable the access the mem card from the phone.

Personally i thought the USB connection to be flakey most of the time. I buoght a USB bluetooth dongle and it works far far better than the USB and I dont have to take the phone from my pocket

After I used some pics for my enigne blowup thread, I disconnected the phone and went to take a picture, it said no memory card is inserted or summit like that

FFS, it did it once before but cleared itself over night lol

It's the Scandisk card that came with the phone 512mb

Got some damn good pics on it I want too

if your desperate for the pic's then you really want to get the card in a slot on a PC and try a few recovery progs. you may even find it'll read no probs in a PC slot.

I've had this problem with early smart media cards when olympus cards header info has been changed by a PC reading the card making the card unreadable with some olympus equipement.

pain in the arse, a format will more than likely correct the card problem but obviously it doenst help you.

Used mum's adapter and won't load in the PC or Laptop, not even in my printer

Rang Vodafone, said take it to Vodafone shop and see if they can sort it - if not they will give you a new card...
