right,
i am 8yrs older than my girlfriend and woried she might nob off with someone her own age, anyway...............

i knew my girlfriend before we were together and she seemed to go on about being in turkey soooooooooooooooooo much and when she finished her exams she was gonna stay there for a few month, when we got together she said turkey was pants and never wanted to go back, strange i thaught but anyways people change!
after a few month i notice she keeps saying how turkey is very bad and how she never wants to go back.....
and when her mam/dad book up again for turkey they keep asking her to go and she refuses,
but being a drunken boyfriend i look at her mobile tonight and find texts to her mam/dad begging for her to go to turkey with them!!!!
whats your oppinion on this?
i am sooooooooooooooooo angry for being lied to for starters, and most of all, why does she wanna go to turkey so badly???

as far as im concerned if i dont get a reasonable explenation for this tomorow night when she finishes work then we are no longer together because i feel i have had the pi55 taken out of me!
probebly just the drink but never mind!

Sean, the simple rules is if you have any doubt or don't trust her implicitly in any way, then you shouldn't be together. As in the end, all it will do is eat you up worrying all the time.

Unless you can both be 100% truthfull and 100% trust each other, there isn't the solid foundation there needed for a successful relationship.

Just my 2 cents anyway..

I dont see what the problem is with looking at your gfs phone anyway, at the end of the day if you have nothing to hide then there shouldnt be a problem

Its like when your house phone rings, 9 times out of 10 you dont run off into a little corner and shut the door do you, you just stay and talk to whoever it is infront of your gf/bf, same with mobiles, if your hiding texts then you have something to hide in my opinion

Firstly I agree with GTi ITG. If she has nothing to hide why tell Sean one story and then everyone else another ? I'd be pished at that as she her mam and dad know she wants to go but she's telling Sean different, which, to me, (IMO) means she is in effect lying to Sean.

Secondly Sean pick the phone up mate you've got my number if you need an ear to bash all smiles when I saw you yesterday and then I read this.

anyway,
its not my girlfriend i distrust really.
i was really hurt off my last longterm girlfriend 5 years ago and still bear the scars now.
so its not a personal distrust, but mainly old wounds i guess

Just ask her what her fascination is with Turkey? One minute she likes it, next minute she hates it.

When i read she hated turkey, and kept going on about it, i read it as maybe she's had a bad time their, or as you'll probably know, turkish blokes can be a bit "pushy" towards women (heard a few people been raped etc over their, it's not uncommon) So was thinking maybe their was something she didnt want to tell you, but just kept going over it and saying how bad the place was etc !

now i dont know what to think when i read about the txts to her 'rents, seems strange tho, but whatever it is, it needs spoke about!
