Been here since day one, just dont post that much, It aint as good as it was in my opinion, but then I also think that of most sites, not just here... Just seems to be the same old, same old, with the odd interesting snippet, once in a blue moon...

One thing I would say, when the twin room format came about I didn't like it, but after getting used to it, I actually preffered it, this was unfortunatly just as it changed back to the single room, as it was car specific, you could ask A Car related question and still be able to find it, when you came back an hour later, more often not with a reply... But if you post in the Technical section, I quite often find I rarely get an answer.

ive not been a member long but i do have a PASSION for FORDS so it makes sense i join , i have found this site very informative and funny too. i have owned fords for almost 10 years (as long as ive been drivin ) had one hiccup where i owned a vauxhall but that was due to family commitment ie kids!!!!

Now own a mk 4 cabby as a work in progress will post some pics soon in pics n vids

I think I see where Ranj is coming from, there used to be great banter and some legendary posts on the RSBB such as; the castrol RS one, tuner wars and most things IMA started and not to forget stef the cossie killer etc...

I was a member on the RSBB from 1999 and know or at least talked to most of the old skool guys and maybe im getting old, but some of the wankers that post on here is shocking.

I think its partly to do with the price of RS Cars being so low now, a s2 starts from Ł500, S1 from Ł1000 and sapph cossie from Ł2500 and these are now affordable to most.

I don't think many of the problems mentioned are exclusive to PassionFord. I'd say most of the popular car forums have suffered a mass chav intake in the past year or so.

I also don't think the oldskool have left there's just only so many times you can have a topic about which car is faster than which or what pets you have.

Thesedays I just find myself scrolling through threads until I see certain names and reading what they have to say.

If you are building or moding a Cossies its all good reading, but it dont change my opinion on the site changing, not for the better.
Of course as no doubt will be pointed out I can leave & that may be what happens, but at least a few have expressed the same view.
My prob is im competition & record orientated & most just like talking about going fast.

I do honestly sit here some days and think i could afford to go faster than YOU Rod...but then i think WHY?...Spending all that cash to beat a record which has got so dangerous due to a Sierra aint gonna take much more structually

I think what spoils it is the old RS owners who have bought jap or BMW and spend all there time on here slagging of Fords and saying how glad they are to have got rid of their cars.

I've never once slagged off Fords even tho i own a BMW. Will i be returning to a Ford or RS ??.... probably... Its in my blood, plus i'm needing the erge for some turbo power

I have been here since PFs second day i think. I have not had a ford for a couple of years but have always been sniffing around, I do not feel the need to post a great deal but still like to read. Yes i agree forum has got a bit "chavish" but that was always going to happen with soo many users. But i dont really see the issue, there is still plenty of great threads and info, just sometimes you have to go looking for it. I think the model specific rooms are also a big improvement.

Its still the best FORD site on the net

The difference with this site is the fact that the RSBB was generally actual RS owners and not just any old shite. Cant beat surfing the RSBB back in 99 whilst using dial up

I agree - I've been here since 2003 and there's some good stuff here, although I do agree about there being alot of non-car related stuff here now. Don't necessarily think that's a bad thing as it provides variety but seeing links to Ebay on things people find funny does piss me off a bit. If I want to see what's on Ebay I'll look myself thanks very much. I do sometimes find GD a bit hard going as well.........people may have a pop at the Muppet Room but by and large there's no attitude in there, most people get on with each other most of the time and we do have a giggle and a laugh.

Some people do need to chill a bit in GD.......first and foremost this is an internet site - and most of the stuff people get out their prams about really isn't worth it !

Yeah I've been here since 03 and made some very cool friends There was a time when i didn't come on for months because it felt like everyother post was about tuner wars..I got bored so left, then I came back. Taryn used to be on here all the time too but i think something happend with the girlies?? and she only comes on once in a while.
