Karl, very nice I spotted a few very UNIQUE features there.
Here is a picture of mine and my friend nicks from about 4 years ago
(Home made 8 injector and ecu set up etc...)
I KNOW THE DUMP VALVE IS PIPED UP WRONG BEFORE ANYONE SAYS

Definatly not thrown on mate, it supports a massoove turbo on a hand made manifold and is proven to work...
The original and much smaller air craft grade thick as shit metal one that was on originally used to snap like a twig all the time.. this one doesn't
I'm sure Dolly Daz or Karl will explain further... if they spot this

rapidcossie,
The turbo hanger is an essential part of the setup in preventing the tubular exhaust manifold from cracking.
When you say it's homemade what do you mean? If you mean did I fabricate it then yes I did, every item you see in my engine bay was designed and made by myself and has been a test bed for comversions that I offer to all my customers.
Ranj,
Same applies really, the car has been a good test bed mainly for developing customer conversions.
Now I am a father I don't get much spare time and value every spare minute I have be with my little boy!

no disrespect at all mate but would something abit more subtle not do the job?

No, the turbo is very heavy and the exhaust manifold is a very sweeping design meaning that the entire weight must be supported to prevent cracking. The enitre turbo/manifold/wastgate assembly weighs in at 35kg and the hanger takes the brunt of all that weight. I'm sure you can appreciate why it is the size it is!

makes sense karl..
could you not fabricate something to attach to a strut brace and take some of the weight?
