306 gti6,ive had one and it was Renault 5's are ok but i sold mine cus it was a chore to drive everyday unreliable and hi maintenance! Depands what u want it for really!

thers a few about to choose what you want, i only said r5 gt because there cheap and fast plus u will have loads of dosh left if anything went wrong


if you want something rare and old skool a mazda 323 4wd turbo

 

what are they like?

 

Gti6's are good everyday cars. power steering aircon etc half leather and 6 speed box with 167bhp standard! get a decent one for 2.5k so soem dollar left too!

a vts, but then your 19 so may be expensive.

put it this way, if u went for a vts you would have one by the end of the week, try finding a good r5 or mazda 323, would take a long time and youd get bored looking

 

even a rst you may be able to insure

i know when i was 19 i had one

i paid 1300 tpft on it though but always wanted one so wasa willing to pay the insurance

i bought my first cosy at 21 after but insurance for that was 2200 tpft

get a frst!you can get a mint one for about Ł2.5k.ive had a 323 gtx turbo and it was a normal,boring piece of ricer shit.i owned it for 5days and got bored,bought it for 3k sold it for 3.5k! reliable but really plain.i would either get:

1.4-1.8:
punto gt turbo--cheap yet really unreliable and pricey with partsŁ800-Ł3000
reno 5 gtt--really the same as above but engine can be a bugger to haveŁ800-Ł2500
uno turbo mk2--same as punto but most are rotten(find a goodun an buy!Ł200-Ł2000
fiesta rs turbo --reliable if got 150/180bhp,parts are cheap and easy to get but can be rotten carsŁ800-Ł4000
escort rs turbo s2 --same but like the fez it can rust quite bad,look around for a good one,expect to pay around Ł800 to Ł5000!
etc.

1.8-2.0+
pulsar gtir--really reliable,interior is shite ,vryvry fast!,cheap partsŁ2300-Ł8000
escort rs2000 --fast,4x4 models are slower than 2wd,early ones can rust but can catch up with rst's Ł800-Ł3500
sapphire cossie ive had one for Ł2500but 2kmiles later needed a turbo,reliable if looked after,rapid cars at stage 1-3+,early 2wd's are better!!Ł2500-Ł12000,really good one at Ł3.8
gti-6--6speed,2.0 16v 167bhp,half leather really quite reliable,but peugeot name Ł1800-Ł4800

i might be sellin a r21 turbo quadra,2.0 16v 4x4 turbo,standard apart from xzorst,bov,chip and turbo,Ł1500 240bhp?had it for 3months as a daily driver and only needed a tyre!!10months mot and tax

 

im not lukin to buy just yet mate. trying to see whats on offer.

i would personally get a frst but if i were you get a 106 gti.

 

i'd save up until your 21 and buy something genuinely quick.

 

I would be looking for a Clio 16v or a mint 205Gti , maybe a 306 Xsi or Gti

But there is loads of things to choose from.

And would you mind typing in english please. all that "sumfin wot luk gud anyfin woteva" crap just pisses people off!
