Default Simple guide to deleting cookies

Can anyone do a simple guide to removing cookies.Even talk of browser windows baffles me. I say this as i had problems logging on to passionford yesterday, but somehow managed to delete my cookies and get back on.But i can't seem to be able to retrace my steps easily.
Do you stay logged on to the internet while doing it? Where do you find "tools"? Is it different depending on who you log on with i.e. AOL,BT broad band etc.
I might be able to fix fridges and air con,but computers baffle me.

Look up at top of screen,

Accross top you will see File Edit View Favourites Tools Help

With your mouse click on Tools Highlight Internet options it will open a small box (window) half way down on left hand side you will see a wee box which says Delete Cookies. Click on this. Job done

cossierich330 Thanks for the reply.
O.K. This is what i have just done:
Click on START
Click on CONTROL PANEL
Click on NETWORK AND INTERNET CONNECTIONS
Click on CHANGE YOU INTERNET CONNECTION
Click on GENERAL
and low and behold DELETE COOKIES is there.
This is the screen i used in the first place but god knows how i got there originally. Obviously my computer skills are shite.
But thanks to the new rules i can now say that i am a useless CUNT when it comes to computers.
