There's a bunch of em down the road from me, but you can't really see em as they are in a private "enclosure" with high walls. don't look too bad from what you can see tho.....

Think that was on Grand Designs? Some old couple built it on National Trust land in Dorset or somewhere like that?

I think they're awesome and like foreignRS said, they're common place in Germany/Belgium

It's a womans programme! And I'm gay for not liking football

I love that programme too although I could quite happily pan the blokes head in with a shovel EVERY time he whinges and picks holes in the place .. then sings it's praises at the end.

I prefer Sarah Beanie, at least she's got those massive things down her top to look at.

Grand Designs it was - my favourite programme on TV!

Built with ridiculous Teutonic efficiency - loved it on the programme that the only one who was late or inpet was the British workforce involved

I absolutely LOVE those houses Not THAT expensive either.......

Can't disagree there although i am sure they are inflatable as they seem to change size at an alarming rate

All I can say is WOW

And how much?!

They are spectacular. Absolutely awesome.

I live in a flat pack house. My dad once told me that when they were being built it rained for weeks and he remembers a kid on a tricylce riding through the walls

Yes that expensive to the tune of 5 to 8 times the cost of a trad build.

Maybe so, but not THAT expensive when you consider it's like 500 times faster.

And remember, time is money etc

Cheapest kit is 250k erected excluding groundworks for their 3/4 bed to a good spec [350k to top spec]
That sort of outlay would build a top spec 8 bed trad built architect designed mansion.
OK if you want it built in 7 weeks but damn they are expensive.
I like their looks though
