Default Got left a note on my car yesterday.....

You park like a twat.

(IN FACT YOU ARE A TWAT!!)

All because I double parked at work!

Fact is, I have to do it though. So they can kiss my ass

When I got my Bravo it was mint. 3 months later after parking in the works car park every day it had little dents down the doors where it had been repeatedly bashed with other doors, a scuffed bumper, and a dented front wing where someone had hit it and then driven off, not bothering to leave a note etc.

If they think I'm gonna let the same thing happen to the beemer, they're sadly mistaken

People are idiots. I know it's frustrating when the car park is full and there's me taking 2 spaces, but I'm just not prepared to have this car wrecked like the last one was. The irony is that I am forced to be inconsiderate because people were previously inconsiderate to me.

You fucking retard.

Try reading it properly pal. I USED to park a Bravo there and that was IN ONE SPACE and it got bashed up. FYI it was an HGT top of the range, mint condition. Not some piece of junk.

I also state above how its a BEEMER I am now parking in the car park.

FFS, more and more people joining this place that can't even read!

If you dont like parking there then dont do so, park somewhere else and walk or use public transport, but to think you can take two spaces up seems very ignorant to me.

LOL you've also missed the point.

I'm not parking like that because it's a beemer, I'm parking like that because I'm sick of people showing no respect and damaging my property. That's out of order and I would seriously hurt anyone I caught in the act

So while I accept that what I've done isn't ideal, I feel it's the best solution open to me.

i know how you feel. when i had my 3 door cossie i worked in asda part time and the car was far too nice to have dinged so i used to park over 2 spaces way down the bottom where noone else parks. a customer complained one day to management and i was asked to move it. i said no because there were loads of spaces and it was so far away. i got fucking disciplined for it! verbal warning!!
fair do's if the car park was full i suppose but it wasnt even close!

So you honestly think i should tollerate having my bodywork dented? Straight up?

It might not be a Ferrari but it's MY car. And I don't want it trashed like the last one.

To be honest I actually thought far more people double parked when the alternative is a damaged car

It's pretty simple to be honest.

The car park is marked out with spaces for your vehicle. If you are unable to park in the spaces as marked, then park somewhere else.

Why should you inconvenience others, just because you think your car is somehow more worthy of not usffering the same issues as other people who use the car park?

It's anti-social, and quite immature.

If you carry on parking like that, I would bet you someone keys it eventually. I agree with you about wanting to keep your car in good condition, no matter how much it costs, or if its just a shitter to someone else, but this isnt going to help.

If its that bad a place to park, I would look for somewhere else within a few minutes walking distance.

I was gonna say the same, i bet somone keys it if you continue to park in 2 spaces. I mean these days people key cars just for fun of it even if you havent parked badly

to be honest I can see why dogsmoke parks in 2. I do the same (although i'll go to the far end of the car park where its always empty and not using up spaces which are wanted)

I have no problem if i go passed a car parked in 2 because I can understand why he/she is doing it!

i'd say be glad you got a note on paper rather than them scratching it into your paintwork which i know has happened! At least you can do something about it now eh

I park at the end of a row, and keep as far over as possible, giving enough room both sides.

Also has anyone noticed, there are vehicles getting bigger and bigger (4x4) and the spaces are getting smaller, to get more money from the car park?

Aye I've actually jsut been out and moved it today as an email went round about a number of cars. I can totally understand why other people would get fooked off with me for doing it but I just don't want my car trashed.

PON, just because other people are prepared to accept it, why should I? That in no way makes me immature, it just makes me someone that looks out for my interests. Sometimes you have to put people's noses out of joint.

Anyway, there's a little piece of umarked tarmac that is about one and a half cars wide that I'm gonna start trying to get on a morning.

BTW it's ok telling me to park somewhere else but round here that's difficult. If I have to go out to the main road to park it's a waste of time because I travel in and out from the other side and I don't see why I should add 15 mins to my journey each way!

Haven't you just proved your own point wrong then.

You're taking up the space for someone else to park which means THEY have to find somewhere else to park.

Still, as long as you look out for yourself, and don't give a shit about anyone else, then that's okay, isn't it?

I'm with you Jay, and would do the same . Some people see cars as just a means of getting from A to B, these are the same people that don't give a FUCK about denting another car - it's just "transport" to them.

In my opinion, those that are ridiculing you for doing this are TWATS . I bet they would be the first to moan about getting a dent or skuff to their own "pride and joy", yet seem unable to appreciate that you are trying to protect your property as you see fit.

However, to avoid the idiots taking vengeful action on your car (the same type of people no doubt that are moaning about you parking in two spots on this thread ), I would get in early and use that spot you mention .

Mike- I've never moaned about anything of the sort, plus I'm hardly playing devil's advocate.

Maybe the politically correct side, but fuck PC when it get's your car damaged because idiots couldn't give a toss.

I was sure it was you that moaned about a woman putting her shopping on your bonnet / boot before she loaded it in her car and when you moaned at her, she said "it's only a car" .
